Drs. Berg have been working as small animal veterinarians on California’s Central Coast for the past 8 years. Along with their 3 girls, Emily (6yrs), Abigail (4yrs) and Haley (2yrs), they moved to Arroyo Grande in June 2005. They purchased the property at 1577 El Camino Real in March 2006 with hopes to start a new veterinary hospital. Gerrit Berg DVM - Dr. Gerrit Berg is a 1999 Graduate of UC Davis Veterinary School. He has particular interests in general surgery, dentistry, anesthesia, and pain management. Early in his career, Dr. Berg practiced large animal medicine at the prestigious Alamo Pintado Equine Medical Center where he specialized in anesthesia and diagnostic imaging.
Kimberly Berg DVM - Dr. Kimberly Berg is a 1999 Graduate of UC Davis Veterinary School. She has particular interests in internal medicine, preventative medicine, and endocrine diseases. She is also uniquely skilled in small animal ultrasonography. This tool can offer diagnoses and help with timely decisions on treatment that other diagnostics cannot. Dr. Berg has extensive experience in this specialized and cutting edge field in veterinary medicine.
